We know that every movement adding meaning to life and making it beautiful and valuable for human, starts its’ journey as an unusual idea. We take that idea, relieve it from the dauntingness of unusual, simplify it and humanize it. This is not only about catching on to carpe diem. This requires to understand the reasons of human swaying through life and seeking peace and happiness and the essence of the thought that pushes him/her to this quest. Since we are bringing out a product, a service more precisely a meaning for human, to understand the unusual in human spirit for us is to think deeply. There’s an
inspiration lies in this essence.
Inspiration is a little shine. It’s that thing, the source for dreams. But first we can catch this shine by catching on to the human we will be addressing. And after, in the trails of that shine we begin to dream for that human. Meaning is not in sight yet but first marks of it slowly starts to appear. Yes, yes something becomes to take shape but there’s still a way to design. As dreams begin to come down to earth, we begin to hear the footsteps of the design. For this reason pre-design step knows no limits in dreams. Can we say that “Every inspiration is a design window opening to limitless dreams?” It’s now time to open this window and ask the design in. Now it’s just the time to embrace dreams with
ambition.
You can not add a spirit, an existence to your dreams without hanging on to them, believing them and loving them. We call this ambition. We think that without ambition it’s not possible to become one with the new meaning and spirit we’re after. We know that this meaning and spirit should be permanent and lasting. It will be this ambition which will feed the meaning and the spirit. And it’s this ambition itself which will help you overcome difficulties during the journey. No doubt it will be a new meaning and a new spirit that rises and this unusual will be hiding dauntingness within itself like every other new thing. The more dauntingness the more originality. Aren’t we after the original?
Original
is destructive. But this destructive nature comes from its’ desire to build a more beautiful one. It unsettles the usual, the rules; forces to think and feel differ- ently. Takes us to an another essence, it takes down the fake and creates a new effective and permanent value. Meaning and spirit lies beneath the nonfake. For this reason we at first would like to break your rules, force you to look at unusual and make you swim in the deep waters of limitless dream. Journey to original is difficult. But as you see yourself swim in those deep waters you will find out a new meaning in you and share the same ambitious journey. Journey to original is a journey we can take together. It’s now time to bring meaning and spirit to existence, design that we hear the footsteps of is now entered through the window of our dreams.
Design
doesn’t take shape in part but in whole, waiting us to bring it into life. Let’s call it project. We came thus far from the shine of a little inspiration. It’s now time to discuss colors, scents, textures, sounds, shapes, ratios, proportions we come up with and all the details that should come to our mind. What’s need to be apprehended here should be the happiness in the eyes that will see the meaning and spirit that rises. After all it’s the design step. Seeing not the detail but the whole and its’ adventure in future. This can be the return of a
sensitive
point of view. If it’s human in question sensitiveness is an absolute must. For as much as you produce, you can maintain your ambition at the result and afterwards by feeling for human. Briefly speaking this means never missing out human in any process. This is because; ND DESIGN STUDIO believes that since the first shine of inspiration until seeing the smile of the one looking at the result, we should act with a sense of responsibility. Our area of responsibility is to tell that not every dream results with reality, what is a dream should be like to be able to become real, that a dream without meaning and spirit won’t last long. Thus we don’t go after dreams that won’t happen and can not be brought into being. For us, being sensi- tive for human requires this. Taking a journey together is important but fragile and fragility harms ambition, we wouldn’t want to let that happen. Because hesitations that will affect our productivity during the journey we decide on, are not a part of our quest for meaning and spirit. We call it
responsibility
Because if we decide on the journey it means we already saw our responsibility areas bringing this decision and we would like to carry all of them. We know that this sense of responsibility will require us to be analyzing against problems that are inevitable to come up during our journey. For this reason we calcu- late all aspects of our responsibility and tell the realistic one. We plan, we foresee; what’s matter of concern for you is the natural course of the process for us. We take shape according to this natural course. Therefore we don’t give a chance for bad surprises. After all we believe that surprise is good thing.
